Inpatient Care
The Dana Rehabilitation Wing at The Morrison offers private and shared rooms for patients recovering from:
- Strokes
- Heart Attacks
- Hip and Knee Replacements
- Back Injuries
- Other medical procedures requiring short- or long-term stays.
Our licensed team provides Skilled Nursing Care, physical, occupational and speech therapy — with individualized care plans focused on restoring health, maximizing function, and promoting the best possible quality of life.
Outpatient Care
The Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility offers a full range of outpatient rehabilitative services designed to help patients safely return to everyday life following surgery or other medical events.
- Physical Therapy — Restores function, improves mobility, relieves pain, and helps prevent long-term physical disability.
- Occupational Therapy — Helps patients regain the ability to perform essential daily tasks — feeding, grooming, bathing, and dressing — in preparation for returning home.
- Speech Therapy— Diagnoses and treats speech and swallowing disorders following strokes, head injuries, intubation, or any event resulting in weakened throat muscles.

Should Hospice Care become necessary, we are contracted with NCHHH to deliver compassionate, expert care during this deeply personal transition.

Semi-private rooms are the norm in the Long-Term Care area; however, we do have both semi-private and private rooms throughout the building. Contact us for more information.
Does The Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility have a locked unit?
The Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility does not have a locked unit for residents who may be exit-seeking. We have a security alarm system at our primary doors that is triggered by bracelets worn by vulnerable residents. Other doors are alarmed by a code.
