Staff Unmasked:
Summit Staff Unmasked: Janet Williams, Housekeeper
Tell us a little about yourself.
I have lived in Bethlehem only two years, but lived 30+ years in Lyman, NH prior to that. I graduated from Keene State college with a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught pre-K for 16 years, the last 10 in Sugar Hill at Gale River Co-operative Preschool. I have also enjoyed running a cleaning service for as many years working at private residences, a Bed and Breakfast, my school, and a local wedding venue.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing (alpine and cross country), exploring New England, our vast country and its terrific National Parks (which I hope to do much more of in the future!).
What is an interesting fact about you?
I have climbed all the 4,000 foot peaks in NH, and a few 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado, including its hightest: Mount Elbert at 14,433 feet.
What is your favorite part about working at Summit by Morrison?
I enjoy the camaraderie between residents and staff members, and helping my team provide a clean, sanitary and safe place for our residents to live so we can all remain healthy.
