Board of Trustees

The Morrison Communities is governed by a board of trustees. These individuals work as a team to execute the mission of the company by providing guidance and accountability. Each trustee brings a unique set of skills and talents to the table. We hope you will take the time to read the biographies below.

Douglas Shearer, President

Mr. Shearer is an agency principal of GMS Financial Services, a subsidiary of Geo. M. Stevens & Son Co.  He has been with the agency since 1995, selling and servicing life and health insurance products, while specializing in employee benefit programs.  He and his family live in Lancaster where he has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including past President and current Treasurer of the Lancaster Rotary Club and current Treasurer of the Colonel Town Investment Committee for the Town of Lancaster.

Keith Kopp, Secretary

Mr. Kopp is a partner in his family’s automobile dealership located in Lancaster, NH.  He’s been involved in this business since graduating from Keene State College in 1995, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business management. He resides in Lancaster with his wife of 25 years, Amy.  Keith has served on many local boards including, past chairman of the Lancaster budget committee, past board member of the Lancaster Fair, past president of the Lancaster Snow Drifters, and past board member of NCIC.

Daphne Cassady, Vice President

Daphne Cassady is a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer of Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank, managing commercial loan relationships for businesses throughout the North Country. She has 30+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, and related business services.  She also currently serves as a volunteer on the board of the Mount Royal Academy North. She graduated from Plymouth State College with a BS in Economics, a MS in Accounting, and a Masters of Business Administration.   Daphne lives in Lancaster with her husband, Lewis, where they have raised three sons.

Richard Rochefort

Richard Rochefort owned and operated The Sullivan Drug Store in Lancaster for 33 years which he sold to Rite Aid in 2005. Subsequently he worked as a staff pharmacist for Rite Aid and Weeks Medical Center prior to his retirement in 2010. He now is the managing partner of Treasures of the Kingdom, L.L.C., developers and distributors of “Gramp Lyford’s” products. He and his wife live in Lancaster, NH.  He served on the board of directors of the Siwooganock Bank for 20 years. During his 49 years in Lancaster he has served on several nonprofit boards.  The most recent being  president of the Colonel Towne Investment for six years, on the board of directors of Weeks Medical Center for five years serving as treasurer for three years.

Larry Barker

Larry Barker joined our Board of Directors after retiring from the UNH Extension. While there he provided 34 years of service to UNH and the NH Youth and Families Program. Larry has led or supported many 4-H programs, including Barry Conservation 4-H Camp Administrator, NH 4-H Shooting Sports State Coordinator, Coos County 4-H Program Specialist, and Coos County Office Administrator. In his free time, Larry enjoys making maple syrup, kayaking, hunting, fishing and woodworking. When asked what he does now that he is retired, Larry says that he’s a professional volunteer as he serves the community in several capacities.

Tammy Dubreuil

Tammy Dubreuil is the Broker / Owner of Northwind Realty here in Whitefield.  She has been a Realtor for almost 20 years and is involved with NH Realtors at the local and state level.   Tammy resides in Whitefield with her husband, Eric, of 32 years with both being locals to the area.  They graduated from the WMRHS in 1986 and have raised their two children.  Tammy is highly involved in her community through non-profit groups, such as the Elks Club, Eagles Club and our own Whitefield Lions Club–where you can see her on the common in the summer time at the pancake breakfasts.

Donna Laurent

Donna Laurent

Donna Laurent is a resident of Jefferson, NH. Her business experience is in marketing and communications. Since 2005, she has had her own Independent Marketing & Promotional Business working in conjunction with Kaeser & Blair.  Previously, she served as the Marketing Manager for the Maine Office of Tourism, and prior to that was the Director of Advertising and Promotions: Marketing Communications at Arrow Electronics in New York.  She serves on several local boards and is a volunteer for CASA of New Hampshire.

Wendy Gair Muello, MD

Wendy Gair Muello, MD lives in Jefferson, NH. She retired in May 2020 after 32 years as a primary care internal medicine physician at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. While working at Weeks, she was the Head of Service Primary Care Quality Committee for seven years, was on the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff for 17 years, and served three terms as its President. She has been a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP) since 2005, and since 2012 has served as a member of the ACP NH Governor’s Board. For six years she served on the N.H. Board of Medicine Medical Review Subcommittee. She raised three children in the North Country with her husband Peter Gair and has immensely enjoyed performing with the Colonel Town Players (CTP) of Lancaster. She is currently on the CTP Board serving as secretary since 2015.

Celeste Pitts, Treasurer

Celeste Pitts is a resident of Lancaster, having moved to the area in 1996.  She served as CFO for Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster and Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook for 17 years. She finished her tenure there as VP of Finance for North Country Healthcare in 2022 and is currently working in an interim CFO consulting capacity for healthcare institutions in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Celeste and her husband Tom have two children and four grandchildren.  Celeste was President of the Friends of the Weeks Memorial Library for many years, and is responsible for all the murals and other painted items in the Children’s section. She serves on the Education Committee for the NH/VT/ME chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and is a member of the Colonel Town Investment Committee.

Sandra Yunghans

Sandy graduated from Lancaster High School, Lancaster, NH.  She went on to receive her nursing diploma from Mary Hitchcock Hospital School of Nursing and then received her BSN from the University of NH. Sandy attended St. Joseph’s College in ME where she achieved her MHSA and MSN. She began her work career at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital for a short time after graduation then transitioned to a position at Weeks Memorial Hospital working in all departments including the ED, OR, Med Surg, ICU/CCU, Pediatric, and OB, and held the titles of head nurse, supervisor and assistant director of nursing. Sandy worked for Weeks Home Health for three years as its clinical manager. She also was a nursing professor at White Mountains Community College for twelve years until retiring. Since 1960, Sandy has committed herself to working at the Lancaster Fair intermittently throughout the years working in the arts and crafts building and becoming a Fair Director five year ago. She grew up as an only child, but formed a strong relationship with a cousin who she considers more like a sister. Sandy married Carl Yunghans in 1982 and they raised five children, have sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Her husband sadly passed away in 2012. Sandy’s hobbies include playing the cello, some organ, and the violin. She loves crafts including counted cross stitch, crocheting, knitting, tatting, and she is learning to do some diamond dot. Sandy also enjoys reading and playing games on the computer. Sandy was appointed to the Morrison Board of Trustees in December, 2019.
