Summit by Morrison to Celebrate its Third Anniversary

Summit by Morrison will mark its third anniversary on June 23, with residents and staff enjoying cake and other festivities to celebrate the occasion. “The past year of Covid has been particularly challenging for residents and staff, but now that we are transitioning, we are ready to celebrate our third year on this beautiful campus,” said Shannon Lynch, Executive Director.

Renamed The Morrison Communities, the three entities comprise a unique senior living community on two campuses offering complete care for every stage of an individual’s senior years.

The Morrison Implements New Approach to Dementia Care

During 2019, The Morrison Communities initiated a comprehensive approach
to dementia care to equip staff and families with important tools that can be used in caring for
individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Building on these successes, a
number of additional initiatives will be implemented in the coming year that will positively
impact residents’ lives.

Art Gallery at Summit by Morrison featuring Batik Art by Artist Carol Dillingham

Summit by Morrison is excited to announce that it will be hosting its first art gallery, featuring the beautiful Batik creations of local artist, Carol Dillingham. For those unfamiliar with this artform, Batik is an ancient technique of wax-resist applied to the fabric.
