2020 Community Needs Survey
The Morrison Communities 2020 Community Needs Survey
Community members are invited to participate in an online Community Needs Survey assessing the management and effectiveness of The Morrison Communities’ programs and services. The information will help guide The Morrison’s Board of Trustees in understanding and responding to current and future elder care needs in the North Country region.
“The Morrison Communities is committed to continuing the legacy of Dr. George Morrison, who founded the Morrison Hospital in 1903 to provide quality health care to northern New Hampshire’s citizens,” said Doug Shearer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “Over the following one hundred and seventeen years, The Morrison has continued to evolve to meet the region’s changing health care needs. Several years ago, we built Summit by Morrison in response to the need for a continuum of care community for the North Country, and we now offer complete care for every stage of a senior’s life. Survey answers will help us gauge how well are meeting current needs and provide valuable information about future elder care services that respondents would like to see in our region.”
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the Morrison Hospital Association, which is known as The Morrison Communities, is required to conduct a yearly Community Needs Survey. The Morrison Communities includes the Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility, Sartwell Place Assisted Living and Summit by Morrison, a senior living continuum of care community. The Morrison Communities provides a variety of health care and living options for seniors, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, independent living, memory care, physical therapy, speech therapy, long- and short-term care occupational therapy, outpatient rehabilitation services, and community wellness programs.
